01About these terms
These terms apply when you take one of our monthly plans or ask us to do quoted work. “We” and “us” mean Laspi Web Studio, run by Danny. “You” means the business we’re working for. If anything in a written quote differs from these terms, the quote wins for that piece of work.
02Monthly plans
We offer three plans, described in full on the pricing page:
- Essentials, £49 a month. Hosting, security, updates and backups.
- Care, £99 a month. Essentials, plus unlimited small changes done the same day.
- Growth, £199 a month. Care, plus a couple of articles a month and search improvements.
Plans are paid monthly. There’s no minimum term, and you can move between plans from one month to the next.
03Small changes and same-day work
A small change is a request that takes roughly half an hour or less, such as changing text, prices or opening hours, swapping photos, or adding a page from content you already have. On the Care and Growth plans, small changes are included and we don’t count them.
Send changes by email to hello@laspi.co.uk. If a small change reaches us before 2pm UK time on a working day, it will be live that day. If it arrives later, it will be done on the next working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
If we think a request is bigger than a small change, we’ll tell you before doing anything and give you a fixed quote.
04Bigger jobs
Anything bigger than a small change gets a fixed price, in writing, before work starts. Nothing is billed by the hour. If you ask for something extra partway through, we’ll quote for the extra before doing it. If the agreed work takes us longer than expected, the price doesn’t change.
05New websites
New websites start from £1,000. Each one has a written quote setting out the price and what’s included. You can pay the full amount when work starts, or half when work starts and half at launch. A new site is paid for separately from any monthly plan, and it isn’t spread across the monthly fee.
The quote includes one round of changes after you’ve reviewed the finished site. Further changes after launch are handled like any other request under your plan.
06What you own
Your domain is registered in your name, and your website, its content and its code belong to you from day one. Where we need access to your accounts, we’re added as a user or delegate, never as the owner.
If we help move a domain from someone else into your name, it stays in your name.
07Leaving
You can end your plan at the end of any month by emailing us. When you leave, we hand over your website, its files and database, and any logins we hold, at no cost, and remove our own access once the handover is complete. There are no release fees or exit charges.
08Hosting, updates and backups
On every plan we host your site, apply software and security updates, take daily backups and monitor the site. We take care with all of this, but no website can be guaranteed never to have a problem. If something goes wrong, we’ll tell you, put it right as quickly as we can, and restore from a backup if that’s needed.
09Your part
Please make sure you have the right to use the words, photos and other material you send us, and that the information on your site is accurate. We’ll point out anything that looks wrong, but the content of your site is your responsibility.
10Changes to prices and terms
If our prices or these terms change, we’ll email you before the change applies to you. Because there’s no minimum term, you’re free to leave if a change doesn’t suit you.
