Laspi Web Studio is a one-person studio for UK small businesses. When you email, I read it, I make the change and I check it, so there’s nobody in between and nothing gets lost along the way.
I already run several news and publishing sites, where pages change every day and a slow fix costs readers. I bring the same habits to sites that change less often but matter just as much to the businesses behind them.
Why I started this
A lot of small businesses are stuck with a website arrangement that stopped working for them years ago.
They pay somewhere between £100 and £300 a month for hosting and maintenance, then around £100 an hour for every change, and replies can take days. The site looks older than the business, but a redesign has never been quoted at a price that made sense. And because nobody explained who owns the domain, leaving feels impossible.
The technology isn’t the problem. It has become much better and much cheaper over the last few years. What hasn’t moved on is the arrangement around it: hourly billing, long contracts, and a support desk between you and the person doing the work.
So I set this up the other way round. Prices are published, plans roll monthly, everything is in your name from the start, and you deal with me.
How I work

You deal with me directly
There’s no account manager and no ticket queue. The person who reads your email is the person who makes the change.

Prices published up front
Every plan is on the pricing page. Anything bigger than a small change gets a fixed price before I start, and I never bill by the hour.

Everything stays in your name
Your domain, site and content are in your name from day one. If you leave, I hand it all over at no cost.

You get a straight answer
If you’re better off where you are, or a cheaper fix will do, I’ll say so, even when it means less work for me.

Changes made quickly and checked by hand
Small changes that arrive before 2pm on a working day are live that afternoon. I check each one on a phone and a computer before I tell you it’s done.

Explained in plain English
I’ll explain anything technical in words that make sense, or I won’t bring it up at all. You shouldn’t need to learn about websites to have a good one.
Where AI fits in
I use AI tools to speed up the routine parts of the work, such as research, software updates, first drafts and checks. A job that used to take an hour of billable time often takes minutes now, and that’s the main reason my prices are lower.
The judgement stays with me. I read, test and sign off every change myself before it goes live, and every email you get from me is written by me.
